Joe Battle
Founder and Chairman
Joe has spent almost four decades in the insurance industry, beginning his career at Lloyd's in 1985 and going on to hold senior roles across the Lloyd's and company markets. He was part of the team that established Antares in the Lloyd's market, later serving as Active Underwriter and then as Chief Executive. Joe has transacted Industry Loss Warranties both as an underwriter and as a buyer. He is Chairman of Coastal Marine and Principal at Chestnut Consultancy.
Daniel Bird

Daniel has more than twenty years' experience across banking and asset management. He spent much of his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he led Global Credit and Special Situations in EMEA, and subsequently headed private credit at Hayfin Capital Management. Daniel is the founder of Thornwood Capital.
